Giving at the Severna Park Community Center Makes Such A Difference:
Capital Giving helps us pay down construction debt and reduce our mortgage.
Friends Campaign Giving helps us provide free or low-cost space for events that benefit the community (like the free flu shots and health fair each November with Baltimore Washington Medical Center). We also provide scholarships for our own programs (After School Middle School and summer camps) to be sure that everyone can participate fully in these important programs.
Participating in annual special events (like the gala, golf tournament, fitness fair, etc.) provides needed funds for Center improvements and lots of "fun" for you! We call these events our "Fun" Raisers.
Planned Giving helps us while also providing certain tax benefits for you.
Giving opportunities to honor or remember loved ones (personalized bricks, room naming, etc.) provide a long-term public way to honor or remember someone special and also make a difference.
